Last Saturday was the Ironman in Hawaii. When I was in town shortly beforehand to do a few small errands, I passed a Hawaii Bowl Bar that offered a Hawaiian BEER. I had to grab it right away. My plan was to sit in front of the livestream from 6:15 pm and watch the whole thing for 8 hours. I did the same two days before at the women's Ironman.	Letzten Samstag war der Ironman auf Hawaii. Als ich kurz vorher in der Stadt war um noch ein paar kleine Besorgungen zu machen, kam ich an einer Hawaii Bowl Bar vorbei, die ein hawaiianisches BEER angeboten haben. Da musste ich gleich zugreifen. Mein Plan war sowieso, ab 18:15 Uhr vor dem Livestream zu sitzen und das ganze 8 Stunden zu verfolgen. Das habe ich auch zwei Tage vorher bei den Frauen Ironman gemacht.
So I treated myself to this BEER right away. A hefty 4 euros for such a small bottle. But as the salesman said: "It's from Hawaii!	Also habe ich mir gleich dieses BEER gegönnt. Stolze 4 Euro für so ne kleine Flasche. Aber wie sagte der Verkäufer: Kommt ja auch aus Hawaii!

Then the race was on and I was allowed to open my BEER.	Dann ging das Rennen los und mein BEER durfte von mir geöffnet werden.

The Longboard Island Lager is brewed according to all the rules of the Bavarian Purity Law. That was very surprising for me.	Das Longboard Island Lager ist laut Angaben nach allen Regeln der bayerischen Reinheitsgebotes gebraut. Da war sehr überraschend für mich.
I can't rate the foam because I want to drink the beer from the bottle. Somehow it feels more right with the drink. It was OK, but somehow not round.	Ich kann den Schaum nicht bewerten, weil ich das Bier aus der Flasche trinken möchte. Irgendwie fühlt sich das bei dem Getränk richtiger an. Es war OK, aber irgendwie nicht rund.

It also took me an unusually long time to eat the small bite. Somehow it didn't taste that good to me. I guess it's different on the beach in Hawaii.	Ich habe auch ungewöhnlich lange für den kleinen Happen gebraucht. Also irgendwie hat es mir nicht so geschmeckt. Ich denke mal, auf Hawaii am Strand ist das anders.
In addition, the German athletes didn't really do well. Actually, there were always time penalties that no one could really explain. So the cosiness while drinking beer was also gone.	Dazu haben die deutschen Athleten nicht wirklich gut abgeschnitten. Also eigentlich gabs ständig Zeitstrafen, die keiner so richtig erklären konnte. Somit war auch dann die Gemütlichkeit beim Bier trinken auch dahin.
Unfortunately, I can only give it 3 out of 10 points. Also because of the price I paid.	Ich kann leider nur 3 von 10 Punkten geben. Auch wegen dem Preis, den ich gezahlt habe.

I didn't think that in Hawaii people made beer! intersting. About the athletes for the iron Man, it looks like it's the Norwegian era, with their "new" (?) training techniques... Cheers !BEER

I didn't know that the Norwegians were so good in biathlon. Not really following this sport. But I might in the future, since we started to practice the summer version of it, biatlé and triatlé. In biatlé only swimming and running are envolved; in triatlé (laser) shooting is added. !CTP

Ich hatte vor ein paar Wochen das IPA aus Hawaii. Das war ganz in Ordnung. Ich glaube, das stammt sogar aus der gleichen Brauerei da die Etiketten ähnlich sind.
