I have been waiting for this since ChristmasDarauf habe ich jetzt seit Weihnachten gewartet.
Until a few years ago, Hacker Pschorr used to give its customers annual mugs as a Christmas present. But this was discontinued for cost reasons. Last year, there was a specially brewed beer for customers, which was not available on the market. An URMÄRZEN from Hacker Pschorr. Packed in a jute bag and sealed with a cork.Als Weihnachtsgeschenk von Hacker Pschorr für seine Kunden gab es bis vor ein paar Jahren noch, Jahreskrüge. Das wurde aber aus kostengründen eingestellt. Letztes Jahr gab es dann eine speziell Gebrautes Bier für Kunden, welches so nicht im Handel verfügbar war. Ein URMÄRZEN von Hacker Pschorr. Verpackt in einem Jutesack und verschlossen mit einem Kork.

The first thing I have to say is that a cork is probably not suitable for beer. It was impossible to remove it without a corkscrew. With a corkscrew, I tore off the head right away. The second piece I had to pull out with elemental force (which fits the name Urmärzen). A little less force and I would not have been able to open it.Als erstes muss ich gleich mal anmerken, ein Korken ist wohl nicht für Bier geeignet. Ohne Korkenzieher war es unmöglich, diesen zu entfernen. Mit Korkenzieher habe ich gleich mal den Kopf abgerissen. Das zweite Stück musste ich mit Urgewalt (passt ja zum Namen Urmärzen) herausziehen. Ein kleines bisschen weniger Kraft, und ich hätte es nicht öffnen können.

The head was all the better for it. The beer is more of a dark bock beer. Actually, I was expecting a strong wheat beer. However, with an alcohol per mille of 6.3%, you could expect it not to be a normal Märzen beer. It tasted good, but my expectations were probably just too high. Unfortunately, I can't give you a recommendation to buy it, because it's not available in stores. But if you ever get a bottle like this, enjoy it. There aren't that many of them. But that's the biggest plus about this beer. I'm giving it 7 out of 10 #BEERSATURDAY points.Dafür war die Schaumkrone um so schöner. Das Bier gehört eher zu den dunklen Bockbieren. Eigentlich habe ich ein kräftiges Lagebier erwartet. Allerdings konnte man bei einer Alkohol Promille Angabe von 6,3 % schon erwarten, dass es kein Normales Märzenbier ist. Es hat geschmeckt, aber wahrscheinlich waren meine Erwartungen einfach zu hoch. Ich kann ja leider keine Kaufempfehlung abgeben, da dieses Bier nicht im Handel erhältlich ist. Wenn ihr aber mal so eine Flasche irgendwie bekommt, dann genießt sie. Es gibt nicht so viele davon. Das ist aber auch schon das größte Plus an dem Bier. Ich vergebe jetzt mal 7 von 10 #BEERSATURDAY Punkten.

Schaut lecker aus. Bei manch belgischem oder holländischem !BEER gibt es auch Korkverschlüsse. Da hatte ich aber noch nie Probleme.

AW FAIL on the cork! ;)

That looks like a fantastic and unique treat of a beer. Limited release for an exclusive audience served in a classic stein! That creamy head makes me want to have a bock beer now. 7/10 is not a bad score and I will be watching next christmas.
