See directly the building that is proof of a king's love for his queen

I am back in this amazing Community to share stories with all my friends. A few days ago I had the chance to go around some areas of Banda Aceh city. I saw a lot and of course there was a story behind my trip.

While I was busy walking around, my attention was drawn to a building on the side of the road that was still around the city center. The white building is in the middle of the park.

Actually, I have passed and seen the building very often when passing the road, but this time I wanted to go in there and wanted to see the building up close.

There are not many buildings in this park, in front of the entrance gate there is a building that looks like an office. Maybe this building is also used as an office to manage the administration of Putroe Phang Park.

At the back of this new building there is a gazebo provided for visitors who want to rest, I also saw a signpost which of course is provided so that tourists can easily access the location.

I can only enjoy the view of the park with this historic building. But in my heart I also said that it turns out that love is indeed something extraordinary, even to prove that love is able to build a magnificent building in its time.

Not far from this location there is indeed a park with a beautiful river in it. Maybe another time I will visit and share my travel story here again.

Yes, this is Gunongan a building that was built hundreds of years ago by a king for his queen. I don't know the detailed story but I know the story has been passed down from generation to generation and told by our parents, Built by a King, namely Sulthan Iskandar Muda, for his Empress Putroe Phang.

This is a carving on the corner of the building, perhaps this carving has its own meaning.

There are not many buildings in this park, besides the gunongan there is another building next to it. It is a cemetery building and I don't know how many graves are inside.

Evidence of the extraordinary love of a king for his queen, to entertain the queen a beautiful garden was built as a place to calm the queen's heart.

When I arrived the entrance to the building looked locked, this is what the entrance to the gunongan looks like.

Another building next to the gunongan is a cemetery which may contain the graves of the royal family. The building also looks locked.

I tried to take pictures through the gaps in the locked iron door, this is what the building looks like inside.

Across the street there is a beautiful river and of course I also need to visit it someday, the river is also surrounded by small gardens that have been restored and built in such a way that they look beautiful.

The river and the garden are separated by a road, maybe they used to be connected and as a result of the construction of the road the garden became separated from the river.

Finally I tried to take a picture from above so that the entirety of the gunongan building could be seen.

A ladder made of iron like a scaffolding is a suitable place to see the whole park. I estimate its height is around 7-8 meters.
