This insect, called the Bush Cricket (Leptophyes punctatissima), is a flightless species of bush cricket. It lacks wings like most crickets.

This cricket resembles a grasshopper in appearance, but lacks wings. I found it on a leaf, and it typically rests on leaves, moving slowly, searching for other small insects as prey. This cricket has long legs and two long antennae on its head.
