Decay Yard - Friendlymoose Photo Contest New Round: DECAY

Hello people!

This is now my third participation in this new Friendlymoose photocontest, and I want also to join this weekly photography contest! And this week, the topic is about "decay", it's a bit weird, right? But sure we all have seen some areas that could be somehow decay... But sometimes those places show us more than a decay, old or scruffy appearance, and not very attractive, because they have life, or they had it, and they still keep it, then suddenly we discover amazed interesting facts and modern uses that give it a unique charm.

Such as this, so, here my cool contest photography:

Strolling through unfamiliar cities, we begin to get to know them, seeing their most iconic and popular places. But sometimes, wandering through the historic old town, we discover a courtyard, a spacious but different space, as we peer into a corner. It's not that impressive; in fact, it seems old, abandoned, and decayed, but it isn't.

And we discover that it's the Corral del Carbón (Coal Yard), in the historic center of Granada, a city in southern Spain. It's currently used for cultural festivals (of music and dance), recitals, and concerts. According to Wikipedia, it was built in the 14th century, it served as a warehouse and sales point for wheat, as well as accommodation for merchants who came to Granada, world-renowned for its World Heritage Site, the Alhambra. But we see that there are also less spectacular but also interesting attractions, regardless of the appearance...
