A Marvelous Mallow Flower

Hello Flowers Lovers!

Spring warms up, because it feels more intense, it feels powerful and colorful. Everything is in bloom around, everything expands, sprouts and explodes with joy, life and color. Everything gives hope.

And we find hope, life and color at every step, in every corner, in every garden, on every balcony or in every house. Even on the sidewalk, also in a sad wasteland or small wasteland through which we pass hardly looking, without paying attention to anything other than our path, our thoughts, our destination and things to do.

But suddenly something makes us look away...
A small vivid mauve detail, what is that? A wonderful little humble flower hidden timidly in disheveled, graceless bushes. A curious and special little treasure. Always a new flower to discover and admire.

The beauty in small size that by paying attention to it becomes something big in creation. Some delicate and cute little flowers, that thanks to the app PlantNet that always helps me learn about names of flowers and plants I find out that it is a nice mallow.

Malva multiflora, also called Lavatera cretica, Cornish mallow or Malva Bastarda why? It does not seem bastard to me but wonderful.

Marvelous mallow it should be called. And do you know why? Because it's magical. Because being abandoned there and being so curious, we rescued it or maybe we stole it, I don't know, but since it was not in very good condition, we had to try something else.

Can this cute natural beauty recover and grow at home? As it does not have roots, try putting it in water in case more roots are born to transplant it into a pot. We'll see... but I've discovered a great curiosity.

This flower is like a miniature mauve sunflower because at night each of the small flowers closes in on itself at night and during the day with the sunlight its fantastic petals open splendidly with energy to absorb all the light power that emanates more energy, more life. And it looks beautiful and happy. You feel like it's alive.

And I feel that I like it, and that I love it, and I marvel at that change from day to night, how it adapts to its surroundings, how it is sensitive to each solar photon that caresses it and how it protects itself in the dark, an organism full of life and intelligence.

I am in awe of the marvelous mallow because this discovery is wonderful. I hope that it adapts, that it lives, that it grows and that full of life and beauty continues to amaze us now close by as we continue to walk around with our eyes wide open because there is always something out there that surprises us, there is always a flower.

Thanks for reading! Have a wonderful and flowery day.
