One beautiful street, a nearby park and a walk next to the pigeons
After two days of national holiday (here in the country that it ceased to exist because all state institutions were destroyed, which cannot be the topic of today's post), and a very long weekend, someone had to go back to work and start their working week in the middle of the week, precisely on Wednesday, and someone could still enjoy the absence from work.
I had to go back to work, and even though I had no obligations at work on Monday and Tuesday, I had prearranged obligations, helping my sister in visiting several car lots in search of a car she wants to buy, so I didn't take a break.
The weather hasn't been kind to us these past few days.
In the morning we were greeted by a gray sky, with some precipitation between rain and snow, with a temperature that favored such an occurrence, only 1°C above zero.

The wind that blew all day and made us even colder added to the bad impression.
But that didn't stop us from going on a tour of several car lots.
Cars, black, gray, silver, blue, cream, diesel, gasoline engines, registered, with foreign license plates, in excellent condition, but also those for getting around...

We looked at everything.
We were lucky that, by the time we reached those places, the rain had stopped, so we could move between the cars without umbrellas, but taking care not to step into a deep puddle, because the rain that had been falling for the previous hours had created really serious puddles.
Since I am writing in the #wednesdaywalk community, I would not dwell on the details of the car, that should be posted in another community.
Here I would like to share a few pictures that I took when, after visiting the auto lots, I persuaded the group to go to the central city park and walk along Danube Street, to the cafe where we warmed up while enjoying an excellent cappuccino.

This is my favorite street in Novi Sad, with the most beautifully decorated facades of old buildings, in which, on the ground floor facing the street, there are some of my favorite shops.

Cafes, pastry shops, Monah shoe store (where we took shelter for a while, me to warm up and my partner to buy some shoes...), grocery stores, pizzerias and souvenir shops...
Something for everyone.

The park at this time of the year, with branches without leaves and grass that does not have a nice green color, does not look too nice.
Only in my mind can I return to the beauty of that park in spring or early summer, when the temperature is pleasant for a walk through the green oasis in the center of the city.

Now there are no children or people, it's quite cold, and this favorite stage for children's play, where there is always someone to play during the day, is completely empty today...

Just a pigeon in search of food, walking with us this Wednesday on the paths of the park.

Nice sights in Serbia! Always interesting to see different parts of the world!
in two months, when everything turns green, everything will be even more beautiful 🙂
