Lučice Beach from another angle: From the seashore to the forgotten walls on the rocks

My dear traveling friends 🙂
When I was on the Montenegrin coast at the beginning of the summer, I visited a lot of interesting locations, which I shared with you in several communities.

I walked on Wednesday, so I wrote to you about Tivat, about the beautiful Perazica Do beach which is reached by passing through rock tunnels or about the path which I used to climb to viewpoint above Petrovac
You felt the summer vibes in the adorable seaside town of Petrovac or on the hidden gem of this part of the coast, the beach Drobni pjesak
And if you looked at my pins, you could have come across Kotor , as well as the already mentioned path through the rocks to Perazića Do.

From that "long-ago" vacation, I have only one more area of extraordinary beauty left to show you where I stayed.

On the opposite side of the path to Perazića Do, through the hill and the viewpoint (I would recommend a slightly longer but safer route) or along the street, you can reach another beautiful beach.

Lučice beach

A sandy beach in the bay, with a short promenade, restaurants and cafes, an offer of sunbeds, umbrellas and a walking path that may take me further some other time (to the neighboring beach and the town of Buljarica).

I found one board, ideal for worldmap's sticker

In addition to the beautiful beach, the restaurant under the pine trees, the most interesting thing for me was the complex at the other end of the beach, with a stone observation tower and wooden houses, which were not yet in operation at the time of my stay.

This beautifully positioned cafe and open bar was in its final days of preparation for opening and I was free to walk around it, take photos and sit on the wooden deckchairs without disturbing other guests.

What I found even more interesting was the path leading up the hill above that open bar.

On that path, I found a commemorative plaque to the partisans from World War II, I came across the ruined walls of the old Austro-Hungarian fortification, and watchtower, from the end of the 19th century, and what I liked most was the view of the bay of Lučica beach, over a crooked pine tree.

I came to this beach every day, whether the sky was cloudy or clear. I also came when it was cloudy and clear at the same time 😀

I came to that beach every day, and as it was crowded during the day, one morning, when I climbed to the viewpoint above Petrovac, I took advantage of the fact that there was no one on the beach, the restaurants and cafes were not yet open and took a few more photos of the beach before the sun came up.
I had the opportunity to stick a #worldmappin sticker on the information board of the beach and to take a photo with a cat, who, like me, doesn't have a watch and likes to be awake at dawn.

I was thinking in which community to present this beach, should it be another #summervibes or #wednesdaywalk, however, since I marked the location with a sticker, and today is the jubilee 3000 #TravelDigest, the post goes to #worldmappin and to my map (like a cherry on top of the cake) for the end of my stay on the Montenegrin coast in the summer of 2026.

Until the next trip and visit some other interesting destination, I greet you and have a nice day.
