Are you true animal lovers? If your answer is yes, then you’ll definitely want to read this blog and share this joyful moment with our little family.

This is the story of our cat Mimy, who gave birth to three tiny kittens — one yellow, one black, and one mixed-colored, just like her.

Everything happened quite spontaneously. That day, Mimy started meowing more often and louder than usual. She kept sneaking into corners and hidden spots around the house. That was a clear sign that I needed to prepare a spacious cardboard box and place an old furry jacket inside, so the kittens would have a warm and safe home once they arrived.

And that’s exactly what happened.
Soon after we returned home from grocery shopping, we were welcomed by cheerful noise in the yard. Our dog was happily running around near the box with the kittens, while the kids were overjoyed.

The kittens were meowing together with their mom, Mimy. She carefully licked them and kept them warm with her body and fur, while they, so tiny and still blind, were barely visible beneath her.

Later that day, the kids gently picked up the kittens and started holding, cuddling, petting, and warming them — imitating their mom. Anja even took a small pet brush and gently brushed Mimy’s fur, while Aleksandar held the little yellow one. Later, they both sat on the couch, each holding a kitten in their lap.

It was truly a special day for all of us. This moment filled our home with a beautiful, positive energy that could be felt everywhere, and the smiles on our faces said it all.

As for the proud mother Mimy — she now has many sleepless nights ahead, along with caring for her little ones and watching them open their tiny eyes.

Have you had similar experiences with cats or other animals recently? Feel free to share your stories with me.

Now I’m off to make sure all our pets have had their meals for today.

Until next time — greetings from me, and a big meow from Mimy! 🐾
