Beautiful Sunset Walk in Kaka'ako, Oahu, Hawaii

Hawaii has some of the best sunsets around. There is something special about being in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, seeing the sunset colors reflecting off the water, and quite often the clouds that form over the mountainous islands form an incredible backdrop as well.

After a late afternoon surf session I grabbed my camera and luckily snapped a couple of photos as the sun went down and the colors came out.

All the pictures are from the Kaka'ako waterfront, some looking west towards the sunset and some looking east towards Waikiki. The clouds still remained after afternoon showers so I knew I would have a good chance at a great sunset.

This is one of my favorite surfing spots in Oahu, but it doubles as an amazing place to capture the sunset. Check these out, remember to slow down, and enjoy.
