I let him get out of the car when we turn off the main road, and then he leads the way. :))

Only once he jumped out through the window but he was much younger. I was driving very slowly on a bad dirt road and he saw a cat or a dog and he did an "instinct" jump, probably didn't even think if to do it or not, went straight for it.
