I know Max can not be afraid of water, but if it's much deeper he should, and I think that is something i do as well, I consider how deep is water too.

I wouldn't say necessarily that he's afraid, but perhaps he's just cautious! I can't swim, so if I can't touch the bottom of it, I'm not going in it!
