Max had no idea, but that little bird was ready to attack him. She probably had babies nearby and Max was too close. Just listen to the sounds she makes...

Moms don’t like anyone or anything near their babies Max!😳
Time to relax and play in the river and leave the birds alone!😇

She most definitely did NOT want Max anywhere near her nest!

That reminds me of when I had to actually intervene and save our Blue Heeler/Dalmation from a vengeful turkey mama!

Thanks for sharing the videao and take care!

I swooped in before she got the dog and ran away from her.

A funny turkey story: Our youngest was around 14 at the time. We had this family of turkeys that stayed at our house. They were wild. One of the males got so aggressive that you would have to go to the car with a broom in hand to avoid being spurred by him. One day, Bill had had enough! I was home and noticed him running around the house over and over. Upon closer inspection, discovered HE was chasing that obnoxious male turkey! He had a sheet and eventually caught him in the sheet. I found him laying on the ground with that turkey trussed up in the sheet, petting him over and over. After about 30 minutes, he let the turkey go and from that day forward, the turkey attacked us no more!

To this day, I can still see him running around the house chasing that turkey! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Take care and have a good day!
