Do people eat dandelion leaves over there? I understand that here people used to eat them years ago(mainly the younger leaves, they don't have that bitter taste), either in salads or cooked in some ways like you would do with spinach, some people do it even today, they might be making a comeback. Rucola is expensive, dandelion leaves are free and everywhere. :))

Liz tells me that you can buy dandelion leaves in stores over here, they are in a spring salad mix!
I also know the yellow flowers (only) the stem is poisonous… can be dried and makes an excellent wine!
I did this as a teenager!👍😊
