Okay; well but then begs the question: why do matadors use a red cape? I thought it was to anger the bull?
They chose the color red to mask the blood stains from the bull and/or for visual effect. In the first acts of the show/fight the cape is not red, it is yellow on one side and pink/magenta on the other side, it's only in the final act when they start stabbing the bull the red cape is used.
You can tell how much I know about bull fights, lol! I don't think I would ever attend one though. Thank you for the information! Take care!🤗
