Testing AI stuff & Actifit June 5 2025
I tried to bring a bit of life to the ugly Ferengi I'm using in my avatar. The goal was to find the tool that does the best job and can be used for free. I gave it a single still image and an audio file and it had to make the character in the image move and talk while trying to lip sync to the voice in the audio. So far from what I tested HeyGen does the best job at synchronizing the lip movement to the voice and animating the character overall, but you have to use the latest model Avatar IV and can do only 15-second long clips.
Connoisseurs should easily recognize the voice. 😎
