I'm a huge fan of the old radio design and old designs in general, I miss the cassette futurism we were promised in the 80s.

I don’t know if you have experienced this in Romania…..
But refrigerators used to last forever, you had to give them away!
Now, if you get seven years, you’re lucky! 😳

Very, very nice! How tall was the last one; the Zenith?

My grandparents had an all wood one that stook about 4 foot tall. It was literally a piece of furniture!

It wasn't really that tall, the photo is a close up, but tall/big enough to stick a glass fish on top of it, they were everywhere years ago, it was like a must for every household to have macrame/doilies and glass fishes on display.

!LOLZ, you made me laugh! I remember something similar, but it wasn't a glass fish on the doily on top of the radio. I don't remember exactly what it was, but some sort of, shall we say, 'dust catcher'.
