This Ferris wheel is nowhere near the size of the London Eye but still something nice to enjoy a panoramic view, especially for the kids.

Tall enough to pull a good squeeze if the wind blows a bit too hard. :))

With carnival rides going from town to town, I always wonder how safe they are being bolted and unbolted continuously!😳
I feel more confident riding a Ferris wheel in an amusement park that gets inspected and doesn’t move locations Lol!😅😇😊

True about carnival rides, I haven't touched one in years. This Ferris wheel is a fixed one, it's been there for a year already but I still didn't got for a ride on it, i find it "slow and boring". :))

Even though I am a licensed pilot, I am very much afraid of heights!😅🙄
I will stay either inside of a plane, where I feel very comfortable, or on the ground Lol👍😇

I've heard before about professional pilots being afraid of heights but being very good pilots, I guess the fear comes from something you cannot control.

If I had to analyze it, I would say that your spot on!👍
I even took some acrobatic lessons, never concerned me a bit being in the air.
On the flipside, I can’t walk across high suspension bridges without the palms of my hands starting to sweat! 😳🙄

Sweaty palms is not too bad. :)) Funny but real story, I was working construction years ago with a guy 40-45yo, we had to use a boom lift or scissor lift, he was ok going up to the second story but trying to go just 2-3 meters higher his knees would start shaking uncontrollably. His brain had a cap limit on heights.

That’s interesting, he had reached his limit!😳

Looks nice, especially at twilight. Did you take a ride on it?

Thanks for sharing!

Nope, it's not high enough for me :))

How high would it have to be to satisfy that need? Just curious!

I wouldn't be afraid to jump from a plane with a parachute (well I'm saying that now but I havent done it yet to see how would it go:))

Oh boy! Our youngest used to do that; in fact it was at a party of sky divers where he met his Hungarian wife (she didn't jump; just had a relative that did). He sent us a video from a helmet cam, and I have to say there is no way you would EVER get me to jump out of a perfectly good airplane!

As a kid I was climbing the tallest trees, climbing the roof of our house and jumping from high bridges into low water :))) I'm not at all that courageous now but jumping with a parachute still sounds exciting and safe to my brain, a lot safer than flying with a helicopter, that's probably one thing I'd try to avoid.

Oh....did I mention our son (and his wife) have done the helicopter thing? I don't blame you for questioning it-those things technically shouldn't be able to fly!
