IF the town is old, why not still use old and power/energy-hungry locomotives as well? LOL This electric locomotive is probably from the '70s or '80s. I say that because this exact type has been built only between 1965 and 1991. Big, slow, noisy, and, of course, power-hungry. But who cares? The new ones are way too expensive endeavor for the company.

Here, they complain of oil and coal making such 'dirty' electricity and they want you to drive an EV. Great, except that the electricity used to charge that car is still created from coal and oil and natural gas, AND not to mention that the infrastructure can't support that kind of demand anyway!
It boggles my mind!
I do love the nostalgia of the trains, especially if they are coal or wood fired! However, I'd take any kind!

Even if they took all the electricity from the sun and wind, the batteries needed would still be made from plastics and polluting substances, same goes for the materials being used to build the plants which will capture the energy. :)))
The idea of an EV car is great, but when you break it down, it isn't so much. Take care my friend!
