My Actifit Report Card: July 26 2026: Day of Mixed Emotions and Doggy Care

It's been a long day, filled with a mix of work, reflection, and a little bit of fun.

In the morning, my brother, my dad, and I got up and headed to church. It wasn't like the usual Sundays I remember; the atmosphere felt different, with many people absent due to some sad recent events. There's more to the story, but it's best not to dive too deep. In short, the transfer of a leader who genuinely cared for every member has caused a noticeable shift. I sincerely hope the change brings positive results, because so far, I've only heard negative feedback. It's heartbreaking to return after three months and see a once-lively place feel so deserted.

After the service, we walked back to the main road. We were heading home when my dad had to break away for some meetings regarding the upcoming convention, so we went our separate ways.

At home, our two little doggies were thrilled to welcome us. We took them out for a walk, and afterward, I decided to check their ears, carefully removing the ticks that had latched on during our stroll. Sorry, I couldn't snap any pictures of the ticks—I stepped on and killed them before I thought to! They are incredibly annoying, and guess what? I'll probably have to do the same routine again tomorrow.

It's night now, and both pups are fast asleep. They sure had a great evening—as soon as they finished their dinner, they went straight off to dreamland.
