My Actifit Report: A Short Evening Walk Full of Surprises!

Yesterday turned out to be quite a busy day, but I still managed to squeeze in some activity with a brisk walk. I took a different, longer path home, which led to some interesting encounters and observations.

As I was walking, I decided to snap a picture of the area. Little did I know, it seemed to be someone's "turf"! The man got annoyed and called out to me. I simply played deaf and continued on my way until he eventually turned back. It was a bit of a tense moment, but thankfully nothing came of it.

Further along, I walked past an old business store that had now been converted into a tailor shop. It made me wonder how long it had been since I last passed this way, or if I simply hadn't noticed the change before, perhaps because my mind was elsewhere.


My route also took me through the area formerly known as the "lamp industry" in Epe. It's interesting to see that the guys are still making full use of the company's front space; it's practically become their football court! It truly brings to mind the saying, "While the cat's away, the mice are free to play."

I also really enjoyed the atmosphere of that area. I turned onto a road that was aligned at a 90-degree angle to the street in front of the old lamp industry. I admit, I don't really have a strong memory for streets I rarely visit or where I don't know anyone. My walk continued past the tricycle repair spot, where the young mechanics always seem to have plenty of work. They rarely take a break, and their work is consistently excellent, unlike some others my dad used to use.

That was the last notable spot I visited before my phone battery started to die, prompting me to rush home.

All in all, it was an eventful walk, and I'm thankful for another day of life and activity!
