Hubs New Business Venture, Introducing BEEBOX COMICS!
So I mentioned in my last post about ApparelzNY that hubby wandered away from the clothing venture when his attention was snagged by an old love of his- comic books!
He began gathering inventory over the winter, but was distracted by the grapevine business among other things until just a couple short weeks ago- then Bam, his old love rekindled and the above logo was born.
From there it all went in quick succession, from a DBA to an eBay store
To this physical location-Penny Lane, the ultimate, daily, year round flea market, where you can rent a space and sell your goods!
Though most spaces are set up like a yard sale, hubs is using this as a test market for a potential future store of his own, so no yard sale appearance here!
First they built the wall and brought in some tables...
Then they began to stock the books :)
Along with a few boxes of baseball and football cards on one table for a bit of variety
A whole lot of up and down the stairs exercise for me and Ethan..
(A view of the main floor from the stairs)
(And that is just a glimpse, there are also several side rooms branching out from there!)
And finally, putting on the finishing touches :0)
And voila, a store is born!
With this new business comes a new adventure filled with comic cons-
-AKA Travel, woohoo! Though it's possible we'll open our own store in this area one day, it's also possible that between online sales and convention booths we won't have to..
Instead we may be gypsying around the country in a van filled with books, sigh, I can't think of a better way to spend Chapter Three of this life! :0)
Wish Us Luck!
Another amazing Wednesday Walk Hosted by the awesome @tattoodjay, be sure to check out his post!
That is legit!
Thanks man!
That place looks deadly (both because I am clumsy and also if you didn't end up in the backrooms you would probably walk in there just to check it out and walk out with your bank account mysteriously drained and with a lot of unexpected cool stuff.
Good luck to hubby with the comic business! :D
Also vaguely related I did the thing.
Haha, it is definitely a place a person could get lost in as well as lose their purse, it's like everyone setting up garage sales one after another XD
Thanks for the luck and I reblogged the thing:0)
