It is important to place them in such a way that they are safe from predators, as I have already mentioned in the article. It's good that you're thinking about it because in the wrong location, it can happen that different birds try to get their food and often damage the hotel. Wish you a good day dear @dreamtales

Well birds are fun to watch so it's a win win. I get more certain type of insects for my chickens and native birds will benefit too. Though as you said, they can destroy the trap hotel... I'll think of something.
