Simple Food, Beautiful Sunrise: A Grateful Heart in Farm Life Everyday

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well. Living here on our farm teaches me to appreciate the simple things, especially the sunrise and the food we prepare every day. Early in the morning, before anyone else wakes up, my husband and I are already up. While the world is still quiet, Cold, we sit together and drink our coffee. As I look outside, I can see the sunrise slowly appearing in the sky. The soft light, the fresh air, and the peaceful surroundings make my heart feel calm and thankful.

Every morning feels like a new blessing for us. Even though life is not easy because of the rising prices of goods and gas, seeing the sunrise reminds me that we still have another chance to work, to provide, and to be grateful. It gives me strength to start the day with a positive heart and mind.

After our coffee, I prepare our food while my husband goes early to the farm. Food is very important in our daily life because it gives us energy for our hard work. When breakfast time comes, he goes home, and I make sure everything is ready.
I am always in charge of cooking. Today, I prepared bihon with vegetables. What makes it special is that the vegetables came from our own backyard. Fresh, simple, and healthy.
We also had crabs that were given by my friend from Iloilo City. Because of that, our meal felt more complete and special.

For our merienda, I cooked dynamite, which is green chili filled with cheese. It is one of our favorite snacks, and it makes our afternoon more enjoyable. Also vegetable lumpia, favorite of my daughter. My daughter plays in this crib, while I'm doing household chores.

In our life, helping each other is very important. I may feel tired sometimes, but I know my husband is also working hard under the heat of the sun. Around 11 AM, he comes home, and we eat together before resting.

This is our daily life waking up with a beautiful sunrise and sharing simple but meaningful food. In these small moments, I truly feel the beauty of our farm life.
