Exploring Tacurong City’s Lively Livelihood Fair: Food, Crafts and Local Talents in Celebration of City Anniversary

Hi everyone! Today was such a fun day because we went to Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat to visit the Livelihood Fair at the City grounds. This event is part of the participations for the upcoming City Anniversary, so there were a lot of people and so many businesses joining in the place. It was so lively and I really enjoyed walking around and seeing everything!

The first thing that caught my attention was, of course the famous ice cream here in Tacurong City. It’s always a favorite, so we made sure to grab some while we explored. After that, we went around to try other local treats. The best alamang in the city and some salted egg, there was also sinamakan and crispy chicharron that made the trip extra worth it.

Every corner of the fair had something to offer. There was pancit, sugar products and peanuts in different recipe like bandi, toasted and garlic and many more delicious snacks. I was so happy to see how much effort everyone put into showcasing their products. You can really feel the pride of Tacurongnons when you look at all these stalls.

This fair was not just an ordinary event, It was a celebration of our community, our culture and the skills of the people who live here. Walking around, meeting the sellers and tasting their products made me realize how important it is to support local businesses.
