A Fun Day on the Farm: Playing at the Water Pump, Enjoying Snacks and Free Fruits Around

Life here on our farm is quiet, calm, and peaceful. Being here with my family makes me happy. We don’t need much to enjoy life because even simple things bring us happiness. Every day is a little different, but all days are full of small happy moments.

My husband is always busy preparing the farm so we can start planting. He works hard under the hot sun, making sure everything is ready. Even though he is busy with the farm, he never forgets to spend time with our child. One of my favorite moments is when he helps our child play and bathe at the water pump. Our child loves the cool water and laughs a lot. Watching them, I can feel the happiness and energy of our child, and it makes me smile too.

Because it was very hot that day, I brought some snacks for them. We had piyaya from Ilo Ilo City and sweet corn that we ordered online. Simple snacks, but they made the moment more fun. Our child enjoyed the food while playing in the water. Even small things like this make our day happy and memorable.

Around the farm, there is a lot of food we can eat. We have papaya trees, and some fruits are sour while others are ready to eat. Seeing the plants and fruits growing makes me appreciate nature more. Our child also learns about the plants and where food comes from.

Living on the farm teaches me to enjoy simple things, be contented but strive more. Life is not just about working or planting. It is about little moments with family, like laughing, playing in the water, or sharing snacks. Even in the hot summer, we find happiness in small moments.
