The Samsung Note 10 Plus - An Old Flagship for Today's Creative | EN/ESP

When I started out with taking my creative work more seriously about 4 years back, I needed to find suitable gear that would afford me the ability to create professional online worthy content.
But I could not afford to buy cameras or high end laptops and accessories to enter the professional space. I needed to start small and find something that I could buy or invest into that would solve most of my creative problems.
The big question was - Could I find an all-in-one tool that would solve most of my creative needs?
From the little research that I did, only a flagship smartphone might fit into that definition, and it was none other than the Samsung Note series. In this case, I got the Samsung Note 10 Plus (the 2019 flagship of the Note series).
Buying the Samsung Note 10 Plus is one of the best decisions I have ever made as a creative.
There is so much to say about the phone and what it can do, especially for a creative person. I literally can't exhaust all the functional features in one post, but I tried to describe the majority in the video above.
Here are the highlights:
TOP OF THE LINE FLAGSHIP SOFTWARE SPECIFICATIONS
Even in 2022, 3 whole years after it has been released, this phone still sports top range specifications that can handle almost anything you throw at it:
- Snapdragon 855/Exynos 9825 chipset 🔥
- 12 GB RAM (even the base model for S22 Ultra has 8gb RAM)
- GPU Adreno 640/Mali G76
- Android 9 upgradable to Android 12, with support for security updates beyond Android 12.
These specifications alone make the smartphone a beast with multitasking. I have never needed to close apps because of RAM running out.
BEEFY STORAGE SYSTEM
The base model of this smartphone comes with 256GB RAM and a space for SD card expansion for even the base model! Most flagship mobile phones usually compromise somewhere especially for the base versions of their flagships. This phone cpmpromises on almost nothing from top to bottom!
DESIGN
This phone was made to be a beast packaged in a sturdy well designed housing. It is quite slim and light for a flagship (196grams). It also sports Gorilla Glass 6 on the front and Gorilla Glass 5 at the back.
The phone is handy as a unit as the camera bump is almost flat with the phone.
It also has curved screen edges which I like though it seems many people see it as a gimmick.
It comes as Matte/Ceramic or Glossy finish. Both finishes are great. I have the Black Glossy finish.
It's a fingerprint magnet, but the Ceramic version has less of that.
DISPLAY
Samsung is known as one of the Kings of displays. In fact, they make displays for other brands' flagship - they are that good.
This phone comes with a Dynamic AMOLED QHD screen at 498 PPI and very bright screen even in the sunlight. The frequency is however just 60Hz compared to phones that typically have 90Hz and 120Hz today in the flagship category.
Watching content on the screen is so engaging and crystal clear, especially Full HD, 4k and HDR10+ content.
CAMERAS
Here the smartphone might not have all the megapixel count, but the software optimization and the the way it handles pictures makes it one of the best even in 2022.
The specs are:
- 12MP main camera dual pixel sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization)
- 12 MP Telephoto 2x camera with OIS
- 16 MP Ultrawide dual pixel sensor with EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) and Super Steady mode.
- 0.3MP ToF(Time of Flight)/3D sensor
- 10MP Dual Pixel Front facing camera with EIS.
I have made many beautiful creative shots and videos from this combination of cameras and achieved a lot of good results.
On the video side of things, it can shoot up to 4k 60fps on both front and rear cameras.
It also has some tricks up its sleeves especially with the 0.3MP ToF camera with 3D photography and AR videography.
STYLUS PEN
This is perhaps one of the best features that make the phone stand out.
The stylus pen is limitless!
From writing to drawing even up to using the stylus as a remote control, its so lossless!
These are the major highlights that make the phone stand out!
There are many other features, some described in the video, but you can be sure you can never go wrong as a creative, looking for an all-in-one device.
I edit most of my videos, make art, play high end games, multitask voraciously, shoot professional videos and organize my creative world with this smartphone and I have never regretted owning it one bit!

Cuando empecé a tomarme más en serio mi trabajo creativo hace unos 4 años, necesitaba encontrar un equipo adecuado que me permitiera crear contenidos profesionales dignos de ser publicados en Internet.
Pero no podía permitirme comprar cámaras u ordenadores portátiles y accesorios de gama alta para entrar en el espacio profesional. Tenía que empezar por algo pequeño y encontrar algo que pudiera comprar o en lo que pudiera invertir y que resolviera la mayoría de mis problemas creativos.
La gran pregunta era: ¿Podría encontrar una herramienta todo en uno que resolviera la mayoría de mis necesidades creativas?.
De la poca investigación que hice, sólo un smartphone insignia podría encajar en esa definición, y no era otro que la serie Note de Samsung. En este caso, me hice con el Samsung Note 10 Plus (el buque insignia de 2019 de la serie Note).
La compra del Samsung Note 10 Plus es una de las mejores decisiones que he tomado como creativo.
Hay tanto que decir sobre el teléfono y lo que puede hacer, especialmente para una persona creativa. Literalmente no puedo agotar todas las características funcionales en un solo post, pero he tratado de describir la mayoría en el vídeo de arriba.
Aquí están los aspectos más destacados:
ESPECIFICACIONES DEL SOFTWARE INSIGNIA DE PRIMERA LÍNEA
Incluso en 2022, 3 años enteros después de su lanzamiento, este teléfono sigue luciendo especificaciones de gama alta que pueden manejar casi cualquier cosa que le lances:
- Chipset Snapdragon 855/Exynos 9825 🔥
- 12 GB de RAM (incluso el modelo base del S22 Ultra tiene 8gb de RAM)

Estas especificaciones por sí solas hacen del smartphone una bestia con la multitarea. Nunca he necesitado cerrar aplicaciones por quedarse sin RAM.
SISTEMA DE ALMACENAMIENTO ROBUSTO
El modelo base de este smartphone viene con 256GB de RAM y un espacio para la expansión de la tarjeta SD ¡incluso para el modelo base! La mayoría de los teléfonos móviles emblemáticos suelen hacer concesiones en alguna parte, especialmente en las versiones base de sus buques insignia. Este teléfono no compromete casi nada de arriba a abajo.
DISEÑO
Este teléfono está hecho para ser una bestia dentro de una carcasa robusta y bien diseñada. Es bastante delgado y ligero para un buque insignia (196 gramos). También cuenta con Gorilla Glass 6 en la parte delantera y Gorilla Glass 5 en la parte trasera.
El teléfono es práctico como unidad ya que la protuberancia de la cámara es casi plana con el teléfono.
También tiene los bordes de la pantalla curvados que me gusta aunque parece que mucha gente lo ve como un truco.
Viene en acabado mate/cerámico o brillante. Ambos acabados son geniales. Yo tengo el acabado Black Glossy.
Es un imán de huellas dactilares, pero la versión Ceramic tiene menos de eso.
PANTALLA
Samsung es conocido como uno de los reyes de las pantallas. De hecho, hacen pantallas para los buques insignia de otras marcas, son así de buenas.
Este teléfono viene con una pantalla Dynamic AMOLED QHD a 498 PPI y muy brillante incluso a la luz del sol. Sin embargo, la frecuencia es de sólo 60Hz en comparación con los teléfonos que suelen tener 90Hz y 120Hz hoy en día en la categoría de buque insignia.

CÁMARAS
Aquí el smartphone puede no tener toda la cantidad de megapíxeles, pero la optimización del software y la forma en que maneja las fotos lo hace uno de los mejores incluso en 2022.
Las especificaciones son:
- Cámara principal de 12 MP con sensor de doble píxel y OIS (Estabilización Óptica de la Imagen)
- Cámara 2x de 12 MP con teleobjetivo y OIS
- Sensor de doble píxel Ultrawide de 16 MP con EIS (Estabilización Electrónica de la Imagen) y modo Super Steady.
- Sensor ToF(Time of Flight)/3D de 0,3 MP
- Cámara frontal de doble píxel de 10 MP con EIS.
He hecho muchas fotos y vídeos creativos con esta combinación de cámaras y he conseguido muy buenos resultados.
En cuanto al vídeo, puede grabar hasta 4k 60fps tanto en la cámara frontal como en la trasera.
También tiene algunos trucos bajo la manga especialmente con la cámara ToF de 0,3MP con fotografía 3D y videografía AR.
STYLUS PEN
Esta es quizás una de las mejores características que hacen que el teléfono destaque.
El lápiz óptico no tiene límites.
Desde escribir hasta dibujar, pasando por usar el lápiz como mando a distancia, ¡no tiene pérdida!
Estas son las principales características que hacen que el teléfono destaque.
Hay muchas otras características, algunas descritas en el vídeo, pero puedes estar seguro de que nunca te equivocarás como creativo, buscando un dispositivo todo en uno.
Yo edito la mayoría de mis vídeos, hago arte, juego a juegos de alta gama, hago multitarea vorazmente, grabo vídeos profesionales y organizo mi mundo creativo con este smartphone y nunca me he arrepentido de tenerlo.
