Monomad - Dikhololo

Dikhololo Wildlife Resort is a fantastic little holiday getaway resort located in Brits, South Africa.
It is a great holiday destination for any family or animal-lovers needing an escape. From swimming pools to tennis courts, board games to game drives, there is literally something for every personality to enjoy.

Even if all you want to do is relax in your chalet and watch the birds and "boks" in the bush, it is the best place to be.

I absolutely love photographing wild animals and nature, so having bokkies and zebras wandering around our resort at Dikhololo was an incredibly exciting discovery!

Zebras are such awesome animals and I feel like the photos just pop so beautifully in black and white, shows the great contrast of their stripes.

We had these guys come round just outside our chalet for their dinner every night.

This guy posed so nicely for me, I am entirely convinced that he (or she, I am not really sure) was smiling at me!

Dikhololo Resort was such an incredible place to stay, so peaceful and beautiful. It was genuinely the greatest escape from city life and normal life. Waking up to the sound of birds is far better than waking up to the sound of cars.

If you do plan to visit, definitely take your comfiest walking shoes and make sure to follow all the paths around and say hi to all the animals, so worth it!
