Great Rachel (The second largest mountain in the Bavarian Forest)

Es ging die nächste Tour los und hört auch nicht auf, weil ich in meinem Kopf sehr viele Touren habe 😃 Ich denke dieses Jahr wird viel über meine Touren gepostet. Sowohl im Sommer auch im Winter. Es macht mir Spass. Ich habe was gefunden, wenn ich Zeit habe, was zu schreiben. Jetz seht ihr auf dem Bild die Aussicht vom Großen Rachel. Es ist die Richtung Mittagsberg. Man hat von da oben eine Aussicht auf die Alpen und in die Tschechei.

Nach einer kurzen Fahrt, sind wir am Parkplatz angekommen. Es waren 700 Meter bis wir da an den Schilder angekommen sind. Siehe da, der GROßE Rachel ist nicht weit weg.

Das ist der Anfang vom Weg, er wurde enger und ging nur durch dem Wald. Was da Bienen und Hummel geflogen sind, unglaublich. Es wimmelt nur noch davon. Wie hat es geiheißen? Vom Aussterben bedroht?

Hier ist der Weg von hinten. Er wurde steiniger und auch nässer. Am Tag vorher hat es auch nur geregnet und war im Vormittag gar ned schön. Ab 11 Uhr Mittag war es viel viel schöner.

Es wurde steiler und ich konnte ein schönes Foto machen. Die Natur ist echt schön. Man kann richtig abschalten sowohl Seelisch auch als Körperlich.

Schöner Stein oder? Der hat was, finde ich. Auf dem Stein habe ich eine Pause eingelegt. Wie die Wiese aussieht, wie gemacht😃

Hier eine Nahaufnahme von der Wiese. Man kann dort schön durchatmen. Es war kaum was los dort.

Der Weg wurde noch steiniger und steiler. Wie man rechts sieht, ist das der kleine Rachel schon. Leider darf man da nicht hoch bis zum 14.07. Warum? Es geht um den Auerhahn. Er ist vom Aussterben bedroht und es geht um die Babys. Ich habe verständnis dafür.

Das ist eigentlich die Hütte für den Großen Rachel. Da konnte man essen und trinken. Wenn jemand keinen Bock mehr hatte runter zu gehen, konnte man auch dort schlafen. Leider ist die Hütte seit 2017 nicht mehr im Betrieb. Sie wird 2023 neu renoviert, dass hört sich gut an.

Das ist der Aufstieg zum Großen Rachel. Er wurde nochmal steiniger und viel viel steiler. Man ist richtig ins schwitzen gekommen. Es lohnt sich trotzdem.

Ja, da das Kreuz vom Berg. Es ist ja der zweitgrößte Berg in Bayern. Mit 1453m Höhe schon hoch. Leider kamen die Wolken bisschen stärker. Ich war 1 Stunde dort oben und habe mir ein Bier gegönnt.

Auch diese Tour sieht sehr schön aus. Ich bin schon etwas neidisch auf die hügelige Landschaft dort bei dir. Ich muss fast 1h fahren damit ich wenigstens ein paar Höhenmeter bekomme. Meistens fahren wir Richtung Eifel. Das Siebengebirge ist auch okay und nicht eit weg von mir. Kürzlich waren wir auch im Sauerland unterwegs.

In Österreich war ich nur in Wien und in Tschechien nur in Prag. Damals hatte ich es noch nicht so mit dem Wandern obwohl ich schon immer gut zu Fuß war. Ich sollte mal @beeber in Österreich besuchen und da ein paar Routen wandern. Einen Bayern Urlaub haben meine Frau und ich auch schon ins Auge gefasst aber noch nicht konkret geplant. Eigentlich gibt es überall tolle Ecken zum Wandern. Selbst Mallorca wo viele nur Ballermann kennen hat einiges zu bieten. Hab da einiges gewandert und unter anderem bin ich den Torrent de Pareis runter.
