Wednesday Stroll Istanbul, Dolmabahçe Palace Tour and Bosphorus Cruise
I used to be a trader and often came to Istanbul in Kapali Carsi and bought goods. Today, after many years, I returned and realized what I had missed. I did not see the beauty of this city, but only thought about work. But today I enjoy traveling and getting to know the world.I've been here for a few days and I've mostly seen a lot. It's impossible to see everything in one day. Today I'm visiting Dolmabahçe Palace and later we're taking a boat trip on the Bosphorus.
Dolmabahçe Palace is located in Istanbul, more precisely, in its part called Beşiktaş on the European part of the Bosphorus coast. This palace was for the most part the administrative center of the Ottoman Empire. Later, Dolmabahçe was turned into an imperial garden. Many emperors and even President Ataturk used it as their residence. These are some facts that I read, but unfortunately we could not enter the Palace, because it takes several hours to visit it and we already had a cruise ticket, so I just took a few photos. I was sorry, but next time I will definitely set aside a day to visit the palace
And then we boarded the ship and set off. We paid for a 6-hour cruise. We also wanted an evening tour, after all, this is a metropolis and it would be a shame not to see its splendor at night. We explored both the European and Asian parts. We had a break in the village of Anatolia Kavagi. We used that for lunch and a visit to the Yoros TV station. We also saw the Cirigan Palace. Then the famous bridge that is filmed with every Galata series or movie. The Bosphorus and Fatih Sultan Mehmet. And then the luxurious villas. I don't know which one is more beautiful. I wish I could live here haha.
At the end of the day we had traditional Turkish music with dinner. belly dancing and folklore program
I hope you enjoyed reading about my trip. See you again.
