Hola, queridos amantes del arte. Estoy muy feliz de saludarlos y compartir una obra que me dejó impresionada por su belleza y toda la paciencia y esfuerzo que hay detrás de su realización .

Se trata de un mural en mosaico del Dr. José Gregorio Hernández, que está ubicado en el colegio de Médicos del Estado Mérida y ha conmocionado a toda la población por su belleza y significado religioso y cultural.

Desde que la inauguraron hace unos meses, tenía unas ganas enormes de conocerla y me alegra mucho que al fin pudo tomarle algunas fotos y compartirlas con ustedes.

Este mural está construido tipo mosaico, con un sin fin de piezas de cerámica importada, cristales de swarovski, algunos espejos y otras piedras que le dan brillo y una textura muy bonita.

Según este artículo el autor de esta belleza es el artista Luis Enrique Mogollón y en este mismo artículo lo reseñan como el mural más grande del mundo del Dr. José Gregorio Hernandez. La verdad es que es bastante grande, me costó mucho tomar las fotos, pero hice mi mayor esfuerzo.

Para mí esta obra es perfecta, su mirada transmite calma, pero lo mejor está en sus ojos. Si hacen un poco de zoom a la foto, verán cómo en uno de sus ojos se refleja la catedral de Mérida y en el otro el Hospital Universitario de los Andes. Esto se puede apreciar mejor de noche, que se ilumina.

Me quedé un buen rato admirando esta obra, que seguramente atrae diariamente a muchas personas. La verdad merece la pena contemplarla, porque el artista o los artistas tuvieron mucha atención al detalle. Unir cada pieza es un trabajo lleno de paciencia, dedicación y amor por lo que se hace.

La aureola en la cabeza, tiene muchos cristales pequeñitos, es todo un espectáculo. Otra cosa que aplaudo, es la gama de colores elegidos, esas tonalidades de azul, transmiten serenidad y todo combina perfectamente sin llegar a ser una pieza sobrecargada.

Este mural es una obra de arte armoniosa, visualmente atractiva y que seguramente tocará más de un corazón.
