Enjoying the sunset and Christmas decorations on the streets of Ejido, Mérida, Venezuela Eng-Esp

Hello, Hive friends, happy Wednesday walk; I am happy to share with you again. Walking at sunset has its advantages: the temperature drops, the sun's rays are gentler, and the breeze blows stronger to cool you down as it passes. This afternoon, I decided to take a walk with my son along Centenario Avenue in the city of Ejido, Mérida, Venezuela. The afternoon was beautiful despite some dark clouds that constantly threatened rain.

We walked the entire avenue, practically circling the entire city, visiting stores and sharing quality time, mother and son. Our first stop was at the Centenario Shopping Center. This is the first shopping center that opened in Ejido and has the distinction of being a single-story building. The shopping center is large and here we found restaurants, grocery stores, supermarkets, and much more.

I really like this area of Ejido; it's a combination of old buildings, newer ones, and the green mountains of the Andes. Plus, it's a pretty quiet place.

I love Christmas and its decorations; we found several Santa Claus balloons and my son didn't miss the opportunity to take pictures.

In a few minutes we reached the end of the avenue, where the passenger terminal is located. I really like these buildings, and the sun was slowly setting, creating a wonderful landscape.

We arrived at the Ejido Mall shopping center; this is a great place to go shopping or spend some time doing something different. Here we found this nativity scene; it is large but quite minimalist; since everything is the same color, it is very beautiful.

After a while, we began our walk back, but not before passing through Bolívar Square in Ejido and enjoying the Christmas lights. The lights make everything more beautiful at Christmas.

This square is very beautiful, but what I like most is the church right in front of it. It is currently undergoing renovation, so it is not looking its best, but it will soon be ready, and when that happens, I will definitely go back to take a couple of photos of this architectural gem.

Sunset, outdoor exercise, time with my favorite person, and Christmas lights—what more could I ask for on this beautiful evening? Ejido has many beautiful places to walk and enjoy, and although its population is growing rapidly, some streets seem frozen in time, which makes me admire this place even more. Hola, amigos de Hive, feliz miércoles de caminata; estoy feliz de compartir con ustedes nuevamente. Caminar durante el atardecer tiene sus ventajas: la temperatura baja, los rayos del sol son más amables y la brisa corre con más fuerza para refrescarte a su paso. Esta tarde decidí pasear con mi hijo por la Av. Centenario de la ciudad de Ejido, en Mérida, Venezuela. La tarde estaba hermosa a pesar de algunas nubes negras que amenazaban constantemente con lluvia.

Estuvimos caminando toda la avenida, prácticamente le dimos la vuelta a toda la ciudad, visitamos tiendas y compartimos tiempo de calidad, madre e hijo. Nuestra primera parada fue en el Centro Comercial Centenario. Este es el primer centro comercial que se inauguró en Ejido y tiene la particularidad de ser de una sola planta. El centro comercial es grande y aquí encontramos restaurantes, bodegones, supermercados y mucho más.

Esta zona de Ejido me gusta mucho; es una combinación entre edificios antiguos, otros más recientes y las verdes montañas de la cordillera andina. Además, es un sitio bastante tranquilo.

Me encanta la Navidad y sus decoraciones; encontramos varios globos de Santa Claus y mi hijo no perdía oportunidad para tomarse fotos.

En pocos minutos llegamos al final de la avenida; aquí se encuentra el terminal de pasajeros. Estos edificios me gustan mucho; además, el sol estaba ocultándose lentamente, creando un paisaje maravilloso.

Llegamos al Centro Comercial Ejido Mall; este es un buen lugar para ir de compras o pasar un rato distinto. Aquí encontramos este nacimiento; es grande pero bastante minimalista; al ser todo del mismo color, está muy bonito.

Después de un rato comenzamos nuestra caminata de regreso, no sin antes pasar por la plaza Bolívar de Ejido y disfrutar de las luces navideñas. Las luces hacen que todo sea más bonito en Navidad.

Esta plaza es muy bonita, pero lo que más me gusta es la iglesia que está justo al frente. En este momento se encuentra en remodelación, así que no está mostrando su mejor cara, pero pronto estará lista y cuando eso pase seguro iré por un par de fotos de esta joya arquitectónica.

Atardecer, ejercicio al aire libre, tiempo con mi persona favorita y luces navideñas, ¿qué más le puedo pedir a esta bonita tarde? Ejido tiene muchos lugares bonitos para caminar y disfrutar y, aunque su población está creciendo aceleradamente, algunas calles parecen detenidas en el tiempo y eso me hace admirar mucho este lugar.
