A morning walk to the foot of the mountains Eng-Esp

Here I am trying to catch up with my husband and son while taking the first photo of a wonderful day. A day that promised to be different, where we would discover a new place. My son had a soccer festival, where several local teams get together and not only share the field in a friendly match, but also learn something from each other.

I couldn't let this solitary cloud slip away, which seems to have separated from its group, or perhaps it happened to it what happened to me, that I prefer to walk calmly and notice these things.

After walking for about 20 minutes, we arrived at the community where the event would take place, called “La Vega.” It is located in the city of Ejido, Campo Elías Municipality, Mérida State. It is a residential community, well known for this hotel that is right at the entrance. From this point on, we had to literally descend to the foot of the mountain.

Little by little, we approached from afar and were able to observe the recreational field. The topography is quite steep. As I descended, I couldn't stop thinking about the return trip, as it seemed to be more difficult. The sun's rays gradually appeared, and it was a beautiful morning walk.

When I arrived, I was able to see this geological formation up close, which can be seen from afar from other parts of the city. I am very interested in this type of geological formation, and in this one you can see how two different types of materials join vertically. I'm sure my geology professor at university would have something very interesting to say about it.

And finally we arrived at a sports field at the foot of the mountains, next to a small park for children. The activity was very nice, the children tried very hard and enjoyed it. We spent about 4 hours at the festival.

After a rewarding day, all that remained was to return and begin the ascent of that steep road, but this time with the sun shining brightly. The walk was not easy, but it did not take as long as I thought it would. When we reached the avenue, we just wanted something refreshing to drink, so we went for a couple of natural drinks at this nice place.

It was a different and rewarding morning walk, where we appreciated nature, exercised, and accompanied our son in his activities. I am happy to be able to share this with you. Thank you for the space.

Aquí estoy yo tratando de alcanzar a mi esposo y mi hijo mientras capturo la primera foto de un día maravilloso. Un día que prometía ser diferente, donde conoceríamos un nuevo lugar. Mi hijo tenía un festival de fútbol, en estos festivales se reúnen varios equipos locales y no solo comparten la cancha en un partido amistoso, sino que todos aprenden algo del otro.

No podía dejar escapar esta nube solitaria, que parece que se apartó de su grupo, o tal vez, le pasó lo mismo que a mí, que prefiero caminar con calma y fijarme de estas cosas.

Después de unos 20 minutos de caminata llegamos a la comunidad donde sería el evento que se llama "La vega". Está ubicada en la ciudad de Ejido, Municipio Campo Elías del Estado Mérida. Es una comunidad residencial, bastante conocida por este hotel que queda justo en la entrada. A partir de este punto, nos tocaba descender literalmente al pie de la montaña.

Poco a poco, nos fuimos acercando desde lejos, logramos observar el campo recreacional, la topografía es bastante pronunciada. Mientras bajaba, no dejaba de pensar en el regreso, ya que parecía ser más difícil. Los rayos del sol, fueron apareciendo poco a poco, fue una hermosa caminata matutina.

Al llegar, logre ver de cerca esta formación geológica que se ve a lo lejos desde otros lugares de la ciudad, a mí me llaman mucho la atención este tipo de formaciones geológicas y en esta se aprecia como se unen verticalmente dos tipos de materiales distintos, seguramente mi profesor de geología en la universidad tendría algo muy interesante que decirnos al respecto.

Y al fin llegamos a una cancha deportiva al pie de las montañas, junto a un pequeño parque para los niños. La actividad estuvo muy bonita, los niños se esforzaron mucho y la aprovecharon. Estuvimos unas 4 horas en el festival.

Después de una jornada gratificante, solo nos quedó volver y comenzar el ascenso de esa empinada carretera, pero esta vez con el sol resplandeciente, la caminata no fue fácil, pero no tardamos mucho como pensé, al llegar a la avenida, solo queríamos tomar algo refrescante, así que fuimos por un par de bebidas naturales a este bonito lugar.

Fue una mañana de paseo diferente y gratificante, donde apreciamos la naturaleza, hicimos ejercicio y acompañamos a nuestro hijo en sus actividades. Estoy feliz de poder compartirlo con ustedes. Gracias por el espacio.
