A day of family, swimming pool and nature. Eng- Esp

Family, pool and nature! I can't say no to this kind of plans. We all need a day to recreate and relax our body and mind. But if it's a Tuesday? No matter, come on, any day is perfect for a new adventure!

Last Tuesday my family and I took a little getaway to the mountains, to a place called “La Morrondera”, in the city of Ejido, Merida State, in Venezuela. This is a place for leisure and recreation and the best thing is that this day would be free for us alone. I already knew it, in fact, this is our second visit to the place, since last year they celebrated my nephew's birthday here. When my sister-in-law told us about this opportunity, we could not refuse and we prepared to live a different and interesting day.

We got up early and prepared for the adventure. The kids were excited and so was I. I have been feeling a little discomfort in my back and some water would do me good. Tiredness and stress manifest themselves in many ways and in the last few days I have had a lot of pain in my back.

The day was perfect, the sun's rays were coming right into the pool, which was good because the water in this area is cold, it's even a little hard to stay in the water at first. I don't know how to swim, but I like to splash in the water and this pool is the perfect height for me. I really enjoyed this morning in the pool. I also spent some time in the pool with the kids, playing with my son. We brought some snacks and drinks to keep the energy up for the whole day.

The nice thing about this recreation center is that it has access to the river, an area for barbecues or grills and a ball court. So after a morning in the pool we went to the river and it was fabulous, the water was freezing cold, but after a few minutes it felt delicious and you didn't want to get out of there.

The children were playing fishing and we spent a relaxing afternoon amidst the trees and this natural tributary, sharing laughs and anecdotes. It was good that we decided to give up our daily activities for a day and took this restorative walk, which we needed so much.

During the whole day, my back stopped hurting, this is when you know that the body is just asking you to relax and rest a little. I loved this family plan, because it was very relaxed, even our doggy friend Taison quite enjoyed this outing. He explored everywhere and was so happy with us.

The afternoon came and with it, it was time to go home. Well, actually my boy had to go to his soccer practice, so we changed clothes, left everything clean and went back to our routine, but as if a big weight had been lifted off our shoulders, relaxed and happy.

I am happy to share this day with you and I invite you to take a few hours of vacation from time to time, your mind and body will thank you for it. Besides, these family moments are priceless.

¡Familia, piscina y naturaleza! A este tipo de planes no le puedo decir que no. Todos necesitamos un día para recrearnos y relajar nuestro cuerpo y nuestra mente. ¿Pero si es un martes? No importa, ¡Vamos, cualquier día es perfecto para una nueva aventura!

El martes pasado mi familia y yo nos dimos una escapadita a la montaña, a un lugar que se llama "La Morrondera", en la ciudad de Ejido, Estado Mérida, en Venezuela. Este es un sitio destinado al esparcimiento y la recreación y lo mejor es que este día estaría libre para nosotros solos. Ya lo conocía, de hecho, esta es nuestra segunda visita al lugar, ya que el año pasado celebraron el cumpleaños de mi sobrino aquí. Cuando mi cuñada nos contó de esta oportunidad, no pudimos negarnos y nos preparamos para vivir un día diferente e interesante.

Nos levantamos temprano y nos preparamos para la aventura. Los niños estaban emocionados y yo también. He sentido un poco de malestar en mi espalda y un poco de agua me haría bien. El cansancio y estrés se manifiestan de muchas formas y en los últimos días he tenido mucho dolor en la espalda.

El día estaba perfecto, los rayos del sol, llegaban directos a la piscina, lo que estaba bien porque el agua en esta zona es fría, incluso cuesta un poco mantenerse en el agua al principio. Yo no sé nadar, pero me gusta chapotear en el agua y esta piscina tiene la altura perfecta para mí. La verdad disfruté bastante esta mañana, en la piscina. Estuve un rato también en la piscina con los niños, jugando con mi hijo. Llevamos algunos snacks y bebidas para mantener las energías altas, durante todo el día.

Lo bonito de este centro de recreación es que tiene acceso al río, un área para hacer asados o parrillas y una cancha para bolas criollas. Así que después de una mañana en la piscina nos fuimos al río y estaba fabuloso, el agua estaba helada, pero después de unos minutos se sentía deliciosa y no querías salir de ahí.

Los niños estaban jugando a pescar y nosotros, pasando una tarde de relax, en medio de los árboles y este afluente natural, compartimos risas y anécdotas. Qué bueno que decidimos renunciar a nuestras actividades cotidianas por un día y dimos este paseo reparador, que tanta falta nos hacía.

Durante todo el día, mi espalda dejó de dolerme, aquí es cuando sabes que el cuerpo solo te pide que te relajes y descanses un poco. Me encantó este plan familiar, porque fue muy relajado, hasta nuestro amigo Perruno Taisón disfrutó bastante esta salida. Exploró por doquier y estaba tan feliz con nosotros.

Llegó la tarde y con ella, el momento de volver a casa. Bueno, en realidad mi niño tenía que ir a su entrenamiento de fútbol, así que nos cambiamos de ropa, dejamos todo limpio y volvimos a nuestra rutina, pero como si nos hubiesen quitado un gran peso de encima, relajados y felices.

Estoy feliz de compartir este día con ustedes y los invito a tomarse unas horas de vacaciones de vez en cuando, la mente y el cuerpo te lo agradecerán. Además, estos momentos en familia no tienen precio.
