Tam Tien Fish Market - The long-standing cultural beauty of Quang Nam people
Hello dear Hivers, today I would like to take you to Tam Tien fish market - a long-standing cultural beauty of Quang Nam's guide. Quang Nam is a coastal province of Vietnam. And a lot of people here make a living by catching fish. And it is the life associated with the sea that has created many cultural beauties of this area. And one of those beauties is the markets by the sea, in which Tam Tien fish market is the most well-known.
Tam Tien village is a fishing village located on the outskirts of Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province. It is unknown how long the ocean fishing profession in the village has existed. But this village has long become famous for this traditional work. Every early morning, the village's fish market attracts hundreds of people and boats to come here to trade.
According to a local friend of mine, this market usually starts at 3am. I booked a homestay nearby so I could get to the fish market in time. I made it to wake up and get there at 4:30, and everyone was already gathered there. And the trade scene was going very busy.
Although the market operates early in the morning, there are stalls serving food to fish traders, workers, and crews from boats.
And one of the very familiar images that you can easily see in this market is a woman with a pair of light burdens. I don't know if I use the right word, but Vietnamese women use these things to carry stuff. It is made from bamboo. Please tell me if you know what it is called in English.
And the second special thing you can see in this market are basket boats. I'm not sure if you have these basket boats in your country. But they are very popular in Vietnam. Vietnamese fishermen use them to travel in coastal areas because large boats cannot access them. In this market, boats' crews use basket boats to transport seafood from large boats anchored far away into the market. They look very difficult to control.
After walking around to explore this special market, I had the opportunity to admire the wonderful beauty of the sunrise there. The first rays of sunlight appeared on the horizon to bring light to Tam Tien fish village. Although the sunrise is very beautiful, people in the fish village didn't seem to care much and focused on their work enthusiastically.
The business scene there was really lively. Fishing crews continuously transport seafood from large boats to the market on shuttle-like basket boats. Fish traders quickly imported fish from boats, divided and preserved them for transport to other places. In this market, there are very interesting jobs. There are people hired to transport fish from boats to the market, there are people hired to collect seawater to preserve the fish, there are people hired to sort and clean the fish. The sounds of talking, the sounds of traders calling each other, the sounds of boats mixing with the sounds of the waves create a bustling symphony of the fish market in early morning.
Another interesting job here is providing ice to traders so they can preserve seafood and bring them to remote areas.
The seafood newly brought up from the large boats looks very fresh. Even many of them are still alive. Everyone looked in a hurry to preserve and bring the seafood to other markets in the city.
And when I looked at Tam Tien fish village from my drone, I was even more amazed at its beauty. We can see two opposing worlds in these photos. On one side are the waves gently lapping the shore, and on the other side is the bustling fish village.
Until about 8:00 a.m., the market began to gradually empty. Traders quickly brought seafood everywhere. The workers returned to their homes. The tourists also left with fresh fish. The boats' crews rest and prepare for the next fishing day. The busy fish village gradually became peaceful. Only the waves sparkled in the sun. The basket boats and light burdens are still there waiting for the next bustling day.
Thank you very much for taking time to read my post. I hope you had a good time discover Tam Tien fish market with me. Wish you a nice day.

A lot of beautiful and interesting, and most importantly in the excellent quality of modern photography. I have never seen a basket boat, now there is such a possibility. Good and useful work. Thank you very much.
Wow! That is jam-packed in early dawn. To me, it's a beautiful crowd. The bamboo they use is very common in our country. That is to balance the yoke over the shoulder and is called the shoulder pole.

So this place is very beautiful and the way we see that thousands of people come here and catch fish and then sell it in the market and make a profit and earn their living. The business is very high here in Pakistan because everyone loves to eat fish.
nice!👍👍👍
Wow I was impressed with the place and especially with the photos, that tone of raising a little the grays was great, and the variety of colors in the photos in those zenithal shots just great.
