Take a boat ride on the water to discover a beautiful waterfall
Hi Hivers in Outdoors and more, do you have any outdoor activities today? For me, I had the opportunity to go with a survey team to join a boat trip to discover a beautiful waterfall in Vi Ro Ngheo village, Dak Tang commune. It is a waterfall located on the Dak Bla River. To get to that waterfall, there is no other way but to go by boat or canoe.
To start the boat trip, we drove from Mang Den town to the hydroelectric dam in Viring village. The distance is about 20km, and it took us about 30 minutes by cars. Then we left our cars on a parking lot near the lake. It wasn't a real wharf, it was just a large piece of land near the water where it was convenient to dock boats. These boats are just rudimentary boats used for fishing on the lake.
These boats are crudely made from wood and corrugated iron. The boat's rudder is attached to a custom engine. Each boat can carry about 7-8 people. We then hired local boatmen to take us to the waterfall. After about 1 hour by boat on the lake, we reached the waterfall. It was a really interesting trip. We saw a lot of different beautiful sights around the lake. And the waterfall is the highlight of the trip.
