We rent the local people to drive us up to the mountain.

We trekked through a stepp to the mountain range.

Hi dear Hivers in Worldmappin community, today I want to share about a great place for trekking through the forest, camping overnight and immersing in nature. That is Siu Puong waterfall. Siu Puong waterfall is 140 m high with 7 waterfall levels, stretching across the old forest like a silk strip, considered by the Xo Dang people as a place where gods reside.

Siu Puong waterfall in Dak Sao commune, Quang Ngai is located at an altitude of 1,524 m above sea level, and is a trekking destination that attracts many backpackers. In addition to the wild beauty with 7 waterfall levels, tourists on this tour can also visit Ngoc Linh ginseng garden with precious medicinal plants and explore the culture of the Xo Dang people.

The journey to explore Siu Puong waterfall starts from Kon Tum city, following National Highway 14 about 42 km to Dak To commune, then turn onto Provincial Road 672 and continue about 16 km to reach the Dak Tram market intersection. From here, visitors turn left along provincial road 678 for about 30 km to reach the center of Dak Sao commune.

From the center of the commune to Siu Puong waterfall about 7 km, visitors will cross a green grassy hill, then follow a small road through the pine forest. Stop to rest at the campsite halfway up the forest, the backpacker continues to walk about 700 m to admire the 7-storey waterfall.

To ensure you have the best experience here, you should prepare yourself for good health, because the trekking route here is quite long and steep. Some members of our group took quite a long time to reach the overnight accommodation in the middle of the forest. However, the beautiful nature here is a worthy reward for those efforts. Not to mention, spending time in the forest, bathing in the streams is also an unforgettable experience.

The three experiences I enjoyed most on this trip were trekking through the forest, camping overnight and admiring the majestic waterfall. I had a great time with my friends that night. We cooked together, enjoyed the evening, sang and chatted around the fire in the middle of the jungle. And seeing the majestic waterfall the next morning was a great gift for all members of our group.

Thank you very much for taking time to read my post. I hope you enjoy it and have a nice day.

Visible waterfalls, streams, plants, trees, beautiful nature, amazing clear water, inaccessible mountains and beautiful plants, shared an amazing journey. However, the pine forest road is risky, the dense forests are very difficult to climb with ropes. I really liked the beautiful waterfall in Siu Puong. It is really a matter of luck to go to such a place. Thank you for sharing this amazing journey with friends, including beautiful waterfalls.
