BIG STICKY RICE TRAY HILL – SYMBOL OF MU CANG CHAI IN THE GOLDEN SEASON OF THE NORTHWEST OF VIET NAM

Hi dear Hivers in Worldmappin community, amidst the majestic mountains of Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai, Vietnam, Big Sticky Rice Tray Hill has long been a symbol of every ripe rice season. This unique name comes from the natural shape of the terraced fields here: each round, each layer is regularly curved and rounded like a giant tray of sticky rice in the middle of the forest. After hundreds of years of cultivation by the H'Mong people, the fields were built by hand with skillful hands and perseverance, creating a topographical masterpiece that is rarely found anywhere else.
Big Sticky Rice Tray Hill is located on a high mountainside, opening up a large space where the golden color of ripe rice stretches to the horizon. When the morning sunlight shines down, each rice flower shimmers like golden grains, while clouds drift lazily over the mountain top, creating a scene that is both poetic and majestic. From above, the entire hill looks like a brilliant golden spiral, shimmering against the green background of the Northwest mountains and forests of Vietnam. That is why this place is known as the "highlight of the terraced field paradise".
Not only does it have a unique shape, Big Sticky Rice Tray Hill is also the most famous destination of Mu Cang Chai every rice harvest season. During the rice harvest season, thousands of tourists and photographers from all over flock to admire the "golden season" of the Northwest. They come here to hunt for the moment of dawn that dyes the entire valley golden, to see the H'Mong people harvesting rice on the towering steps, or simply to immerse themselves in the vast, clear space that cannot be found in urban areas.
Big Sticky Rice Tray Hill is not only beautiful because of its unique shape; It is also a vivid demonstration of how the Northwest people adapt and create sustainable beauty from the mountains and forests. In the future, with the orientation of developing community tourism, this place continues to promise to become a must-visit destination for all tourists when coming to Mu Cang Chai - where the golden season is always brilliant, warm and full of pride.
Thank you very much for taking time to read my post. I hope you enjoy it and have a nice day.

Viewing your photos made me more amaze of nature in this world. I can't help but keep "wow-ing" in that Sticky Rice Tray Hill. It is so amazing and perfect and majestic and stunning and all any other adjectives I can find to define its perfection. I wonder how you reacted when you had a face to face encounter on that hills, perfectly curved in every layer, with greens complementing the whole environment. That Sticky Rice Hill deserves to be known and fostered. The local people in that hill looks welcoming and traditional, like they are the heart of the place.
With the perfect angle to spot the sunlight peeping in the slopes of the mountain, you almost made a straight out of a movie view there. I am always amazed by your shots @dodovietnam. Thank you for sharing this.

Every photo is masterpiece, amazing shots
It looks similar to the well-known rice terraces in the northern part of Luzon here in the Philippines. Very nice captures.
Your post makes Mu Cang Chai feel like a place where landscape, tradition, and local heritage all come together in a truly unforgettable way. ❤️
