A wonderful trekking to discover the beauty of nature at a mountain near Vi R'Ngheo village

Hi Hivers in Outdoors and more community, I recently had a great trekking into nature. It was a memorable trip in a mountain near Vi R'Ngheo village, Dak Tang commune, Kon Plong district, where I went and attended the great solidarity day with the Xo Dang ethnic minority. I heard about that beautiful mountain from the local there, then I decided to stay there one more day to explore it. And I have not regretted that decision. I will show you why in this post.

To get to that mountain, a local led me and my friend there. Actually he was the leader of that village, and because he liked us, he wanted to show us that mountain. It is a mountain that still retains its original beauty and is very well preserved by the locals. You are not allowed to bring anything out of that forest if you do not want to be held by the villagers. From the village, there is a small steep dirt road leading up the mountain. It was about 2km long, and it took us about 1 hour to walk up there. Since we haven't walk up a mountain in a long time, it was quite tiring, but we enjoyed the journey because of the beautiful nature around.

After arriving at the mountain, we continued to trek into the forest to discover its beauty. There are no obvious trails there, without the guidance of the locals, I'm sure we wouldn't have known and found it. It's just a small trail through the beautiful forest. With beautiful forest and cool weather, we tirelessly trekked along that trail to discover the beauty of nature there. We enjoy the area so much that we stayed there for nearly two hours and never felt bored.

This is the leader of the village who led us to explore the beauty of this mountain.

He introduced us to the variety of trees in that forest.

He showed us the orchid that he had planted in this forest.

Although it was a long and tiring trekking, we enjoyed it very much.

What I love about this forest is that it has been very well preserved. There are many reasons to explain this. Firstly, it is located in a remote and isolated area from modern life and the road to get there is not easy. Second, it is well preserved by the locals. For the Xo Dang ethnic minority there, the forest and the mountain are their pride and natural land. So at all costs, they must preserve it. That is what the beauty of the forest is created and preserved. And there are many big trees there.

Another thing I have enjoyed about the mountain is its diverse vegetation. You can find a lot of different trees there. The plants there live symbiotically with each other. I was especially impressed with the green moss carpet there, it seemed to cover everywhere in the forest. And there's a dense fern forest there. I have also heard the local people tell about the orchid forest there, and I will come back here in December at the time when the orchid forest blooms.

And another reward for me when I reached the top of the mountain was the stunning panoramic view of the surrounding area. From the top of the mountain, I was able to admire the entire Vi R'Ngheo village below. From above, I could see that the village was nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains. The surrounding hills are also very beautiful with dense forests and green grass hills. From the top of the mountain, I was able to look out over the seemingly endless rolling mountain ranges all around.

In England I love walking through woods and small forests in the countryside. When on Holidays in other Countries, I'm not so keen! I always have such a strong fear of dangerous snakes and spiders whenever I'm walking abroad. !LOLZ 😄

Hi @fun.farms
You're right, sometimes I see some snakes in this area. It's okay for me, actually they will run away when we come, they just defend when we accidentally step on them or attack them.
