A two day discovery trip on car

Hi Hivers in the Outdoors and more community, I just had a wonderful two day car adventure with my friends so I wanted to share it with you right away. It's hard for us to have a free time together. On the occasion of the weekend, we went on a two day adventure trip on cars together. Living in a mountainous area, we have only driven to lands farther and deeper to explore. There is no specific schedule, we just follow google maps. What I liked most about this trip was that we were able to stop whenever we wanted and everything was new and exciting.

We departed from Mang Den town on Saturday morning. We went towards the distant Ngoc Linh mountain. Along the way, we passed many beautiful small villages. We didn't bring much food except for the necessary personal items. When we arrived in densely populated areas, we often stopped to refill fuel, buy food and necessary supplies. That's the kind of trip that I really like. No plan, no schedule, no expectation and no worries.

Although the road was rough at times, it didn't stop us. Every day we drove about 150km because of the rough road. Beautiful villages and mountains kept appearing on our way. I will definitely return to this route in the future. I will never forget the villages, the rice terraces, the beautiful forests and the innocent eyes of the children we met along the way.

When it was getting dark, we stopped and rested at Te Xang commune, Tu Mo Rong district, Kon Tum province. After buying the necessary food on the way, we just stopped by the side of the road to cook and rest. We chose to stop near a stream so we could have water for washing and cooking. Going on a mountain road, so firewood was not a problem. We just cooked some simple dishes including instant noodles, grilled pork, boiled corn and some fruits for dinner. After having dinner, we cooked a pot of hot tea to enjoy and talked before going to bed right in the cars. For me, sleeping in the car is not a problem. While my friends struggled a bit because they weren't used to sleeping in car seats.

After a good night's sleep we had a wonderful breakfast in nature next to a stream. We had toast, poached eggs, sausage, tomatoes and coffee. After an energetic breakfast, we continued our discovery trip. We went deeper into the Ngoc Linh mountains. The deeper we went, the more beautiful the scenery. We seemed to be lost in a wonderland. Rolling mountains, remote villages and majestic rice terraces.

After a day of exploring many beautiful destinations, we decided to stay by another stream. After a 2 day trip we had to do our laundry. I also bathed in the nearby stream, although the water was very cold, it was a cool feeling. Next to the stream, there was a large lawn where we parked our car and stayed overnight. It's such a chill spot to stay overnight. We had a great time there having dinner and chilling with the surrounding nature before resting after a great long day.

The next morning, the first rays of early morning sunlight kept us warm and had a wonderful breakfast. We then stayed to sip coffee and chill right by the stream before continuing to explore new destinations.

On suggestion my friend, vignetting is not necessary all the time. Sometimes it hides some details.

Unplanned trips sometimes are the best! Looking at the road it was kinda rough and I commend the driver 🙂.
It was a long drive but the scenery was worth it.
Anyone would love to experience this.

Wao always like to visit this type of amazing and wonderful places. Jeep remains the best to go to such places because the engine it has is more powerful. Weather and mountains looks so impressive i really enjoy your trip. Thanks for sharing.

Yes @djbravo
The cars are not jeep. They are trooper and pajero. And you're right, they are very suitable for this kind of trip.
