In the Eye of the Monster: High-Risk Photography in Serious Sam 3

Hello! I hope you are well and enjoying the good pictures of the community, and speaking of pictures, I have brought some beads today for the visual delight of all of you. In fact, I have set myself a challenge for this post, which is that I have to photograph the monsters or aliens that took over the cities in Serius Sam 3, but as close as I can. And as you can imagine, this is a difficult task in this unbridled combat videogame... ![]() To get to the point I started my mission and the first giant alien suddenly appeared, so taking advantage of the fact that I was on a wall I approached it and photographed it more closely. Thus began my adventure and above all my personal challenge as a gamer photographer! ![]() Here I was trying to photograph these monsters up close, but found it difficult to get some good shots due to the narrow space of the concrete ruins. ![]() But before I gave up, I plucked out the eye of one of these creatures, even I found it unpleasant to look at this capture. ![]() ![]() These aliens needed to be photographed more closely, so in a wider space I made other attempts to photograph them, I guess they came out much better. ![]() I set the camera view to third person and took screenshots, if you look closely I gouged one of these beasts' eyes out while running backwards. I think with this I've met the challenge of photographing this fast creature up close, now it's time to look for the next monster. ![]() I almost made this alien soldier eat my shoe, hahaha, I think this is the closest I've been to one of these aliens so far. ![]() After that brutal kick I headed towards him to finish him off on the ground! ![]() ![]() Although most of these aliens you see below are slow, they were difficult to photograph up close because they have a rocket launcher weapon that caused me great difficulty to get close, I think the only way I could take this picture was seconds before dying in their clutches xd. ![]() Meanwhile, further on I came across a totally new species in sight, a monster that looks like a bull, with a monstrous strength in its horns, so in short I had to dodge it a few times to get a close-up shot of its peculiar appearance. ![]() In the meantime I was a little bit waiting for the extraction to get out of there, but the helicopter that was shot down with a big missile For a moment I thought it might be a ship that had shot it down. ![]() ![]() My surprise was such when I discovered that a colossal-sized alien had done it. This new alien with robotic parts had destroyed my helicopter! I took advantage of the cinematic to take this picture, which for me is undoubtedly the best I've taken so far, but, however, this doesn't count as close-up photography, as it's supposed to be while I'm playing and fighting face to face against him. ![]() Quickly, I hid behind these temple walls, but I had to be quick, for this alien's missiles were destroying everything in their path. ![]() To make it even more challenging I set out to take him down with just the small gun and while doing so it was the only way to get a close up of his whole body, even in this photo I found the angle and perspective interesting where it looked like I was sticking the gun in his hundred hahaha. ![]() ![]() And friends, here ends my hunt for monsters as a photographer, I hope you had fun and above all that you were able to appreciate very well the terrifying appearances of these beings. Thanks for watching and reading! Requirements to play: OS: Windows 7 64-bit Translated with: DeepL.com All images were captured in the video game. ![]() |
I don't remember if it will be the same name of a game that I played once, the truth is that it was amazing, but this third installment is epic, I love seeing the effects when it comes to damaging enemies, thanks for sharing

It is very likely that you have already tried some of this saga of video games, but especially from the third is that more weapons and a variety of effects were integrated into the gameplay, and of course I thank you for stopping by to see these pictures of monsters.
