Travel Post 43 - Yixin Hotel, Meizhou, China Review

Hi there. In this travel post I provide my review of Yixin Hotel in Meizhou, China. Our travel group spent 10 nights in this hotel. This hotel was recommended from our family friend in Meizhou.

A Nice Hotel At Affordable Prices

Yixin Hotel is a very nice hotel given the price. One night was around 35 CAD (after currency exchange). This is really affordable. You don't even get a motel in Canada for 100 CAD let alone a hotel. Travelers coming to Meizhou enjoy strong purchasing power if they bring dollars.

Although this hotel was recommended by a family friend here in Meizhou, you can find Yixin Hotel through Trip.com.

Hotel Lobby Pictures

This hotel lobby is very nice. It is not too big but feels spacious near the elevator. They have a restaurant for breakfast only on the lobby floor as well as a restaurant in one of the middle floors.

Service robot in hotel

Like most modern China hotels, there is a service robot for delivery purposes.

The hotel room I got was one with two single beds. The size is not too small and not too big. It was just right.

A kettle and water is provided. Room service is included every day.

It is not shown here, opening your hotel door requires a key card. With this room we get 2 cards. One for each of the 2 guests.

Bathroom

The bathroom is pretty nice here. It is fairly clean and the shower looks pretty good.

Closing Notes

Before coming to China I did do some research on China hotels. I knew prices would be much lower compared to Toronto hotels. Seeing hotel prices as low as 35 to 40 CAD per night is wild. Wages and salaries are low here in Meizhou. However their prices are low too. For travellers, the prices are low here compared to North America.

This hotel is an above average hotel given their prices. The rooms look nice, the service is pretty good and prices are low.

My Rating: 9 out of 10.

Thank you for reading.
