Austin day 1.

This has already been a fun trip for me and it has only been 1 day. I think best part of about it that I have been getting to see family that I rarely get to see. Growing up we had a super good tradition of always hanging out with my aunts and uncles on my dads side. As I got older though it got harder and harder. Now I never get to see them. It’s been a 10 plus years.

I love getting to hear old stories about my grandpa from them and also about my uncle who just passed away.

My uncle and I had a special bond. When I was about 14 years old my dad too me to his house to work for him. I was there for a for a good time and we worked hard. I think it meant a lot to him and he has remained in touch throughout his life. It’s a reminder that serving others will often benefit you life more than the people you are serving.

Of and we found the best seafood place I’ve ever eaten.

We all ate soo much that we only ate one meal yesterday. These are the 2 dishes I thought were the best.

Cool story about Carla is that Wayne Newton paid 11k to take ownership.

Some of Carla’s offspring performed very well in future horse shows.
