Exposición Entre el Cielo y la Tierra

Este domingo 20 de julio tuve la oportunidad de visitar la Galería de Arte Nacional, donde pude deleitarme con la obra de la artista joven del mes. Ella se llama Ivanyerlyn Oropeza, una caraqueña, estudiante de Artes Plásticas, mención Fotografía en la Universidad Nacional Experimental de las Artes UNEARTE que se autodefine como “Soy el tiempo en la conjugación de los colores, soy luz y oscuridad”.

Ivanyerlyn enfoca su trabajo en la experimentación de las imágenes, en la creación de mundos surreales, donde diferentes realidades se mezclan. En su trabajo el tiempo se mueve entre dimensiones, ella utiliza los recursos digitales para dibujar su mundo y transmitir emociones, creando así, verdaderas obras visuales.

En lo personal, soy un gran  admirador de su trabajo, sus autorretratos son excepcionales al igual que su fotografía urbana, son muy interesantes. Su obra se caracteriza  por ser muy limpia y sutil, documentando su entorno, viviendo su ciudad, mostrando la cotidianidad que muchas veces pasa desapercibida. Considero que, poco a poco se ira posicionando en la movida caraqueña y seguirá exponiendo su trabajo en las principales salas de la ciudad.

La conocí personalmente hace algún tiempo, en una cayapa fotográfica por la ciudad de Caracas. Quede fascinado de su  gran personalidad, ella es perfeccionista, minuciosa, jovial, alegre y extrovertida. Me emocionó mucho saber que su trabajo había sido seleccionado para ser expuesto en tan prestigioso espacio, el cual por cierto casi no logro visitar, debido a que este espacio se renueva mensualmente,  pero el tiempo jugó a mi favor, logrando así, poder visitarla este domingo 20 de julio, último día de la exposición, teniendo  el maravilloso honor de ver y apreciar la obra, junto a su creadora.

*Between Heaven and Earth Exhibition

This Sunday, July 20, I had the opportunity to visit the National Art Gallery, where I was delighted with the work of the young artist of the month. Her name is Ivanyerlyn Oropeza, a caraqueña, student of Plastic Arts, mention in Photography at the Universidad Nacional Experimental de las Artes UNEARTE who defines herself as “I am time in the conjugation of colors, I am light and darkness”.

Ivanyerlyn focuses her work in the experimentation of images, in the creation of surreal worlds, where different realities are mixed. In her work time moves between dimensions, she uses digital resources to draw her world and transmit emotions, creating true visual works.

Personally, I am a great admirer of his work, his self-portraits are exceptional as well as his urban photography, they are very interesting. His work is characterized by being very clean and subtle, documenting his environment, living his city, showing the everyday life that often goes unnoticed. I believe that, little by little, he will position himself in the Caracas scene and will continue to exhibit his work in the main halls of the city.

I met her personally some time ago, on a photographic tour around the city of Caracas. I was fascinated by her great personality, she is perfectionist, meticulous, jovial, cheerful and outgoing. I was very excited to know that her work had been selected to be exhibited in such a prestigious space, which by the way I almost did not get to visit, because this space is renewed monthly, but time played in my favor, so I was able to visit her this Sunday July 20, the last day of the exhibition, having the wonderful honor of seeing and appreciating the work, along with its creator.
