Love is justice

In my love there is justice,
always trying to do what is right,
and the trust that unites us
is as strong as skyscrapers.

In books we find wisdom,
which guides our path,
and although there are seas that separate our bodies,
love holds us together.

Every step of life we take together,
Shod our shoes with the same foot,
and though rain and cold may disturb us,
our love does not fade.

Together we have built a shield,
that protects us from adversity,
and among white roses and their soft petals,
our love blooms with tenacity.

And so it will continue, my sweet love,
with justice, trust and truth,
building with our love
a world of happiness.
