Monomad challenge Sandbach walk to the Pub by the Canal

The other week I was staying with some friends in Sandbatch a very pleasant market town in Cheshire. At a bit of a loose end one afternoon some suggested we walk down to a local pub by the canal which takes you through the local woodland.

Past the old mill that has been converted into apartments.

And the millpond overflow.

Under the disused rail line. Which is now the Wheelock Rail trail

Finally the canal not much further to the pub so they tell me.

The pub is on the other side thankfully There’s a bridge.

The Cheshire Cheese at long last I deserve a pint.
