My visit to the Dakshineswar Metro Station

avatar

For a long time I was planning to go to the temple to offer prayers, but it was not time. Later one day I left home without any plan. There are a few direct trains going there from our nearest railway station but I couldn't catch any of these trains at the time I went out. So I had to change trains there twice.

First take local train to Dum Dum station, from there take metro rail to Dakshineshwar metro station here in India.. . It was raining when I reached

Dakshineshwar metro station. I came out of the metro station and stood for some time and waited for the rain to stop. While standing I can see some pretty photogenic views in front of the metro station. I didn't do any photography from there. The ticket counter of the railway station here is not like the ticket counter of other railway stations.

Here the ticket counter is made in the symbolic shape of the temple which is really beautiful to look at. Moreover, I saw many elaborate scenes outside the metro station. There are various paints painted with the help of cement and colors which look really fascinating. Anyway, you can understand it by looking at the photographs...
