This is the amazing Benedictine Abbey of San José

Last weekend I went on a walk that was not planned but it was great and nice to do it. The thing is that I went with my mom for a walk to a place where she lived in my childhood for a short time and she had the nostalgia of going there. I didn't know it and I really wanted to go there and finally see what it was like and added to the fact that we would pass by another very well known place that I had never been to before.
That's how we passed by Magdaleno we only saw through the windows, but we never stopped because I must say that they saw it a little lonely. But the main attraction of all was a space that is on the outskirts of Guigue which belongs to the state of Carabobo located in Venezuela, that's right, this is the place where I wanted to go and where my lived.

We stopped on the outskirts of that town and that is how we arrived at this place full of peace called Benedictine Abbey San Jose, I have to mention that I find it impressive how they built this building so majestic and beautiful, as it is located on a kind of very high hill and in fact you can see part of the state of Carabobo and an important lake of the city. It is a place that is far from the big cities and it is something that makes it more important and interesting that they have built it, it is beautiful and there is an indescribable peace and silence.

Unfortunately I could not take pictures inside the church because it was closed and that is why I only show you the beautiful and clean place outside, the great was cut everything was very clean and there was a perfect climate, it was not too sunny or hot, take some special pictures and appreciate this great building which the truth I never thought to go to meet her.

It is an ideal place for spiritual retreats, for conferences, the environment lends itself and I understand that they do this type of activities and from what I saw from the outside it has a giant space to enjoy the outdoors and many rooms, there is a viewpoint as I mentioned above that allows you to appreciate the entire Tacariguas Lake.
I found the architectural structure very interesting and at the same time very well preserved, the red bricks give it a unique contrast with the green of nature and the beautiful blue of the sky. It was a simple but beautiful walk, things to treasure.
