Hello, I recently told you that I had made a short film called “One Day at a Time.” I am very happy because it was nominated for this year's MavFest, a festival where awards are given to the best short films of the year. At the moment, I know that there were a total of 70 short films, of which 30 were selected to be shown to the public, and mine was among them!

We were invited to the screening of all the short films, and I was happy because I hadn't seen any of them and wanted to see what my classmates had done. In the end, I was quite satisfied because I thought everyone else's work was excellent. There were some documentaries and some fiction films, and I liked them all. I'm not going to lie, I liked some more than others, but I admire the power that people have to do what they can with what they have. Often, the results are better than one might expect.

Nos invitaron a la proyección de todos los cortometrajes y fui feliz porque no había visto ningún otro y quería ver que habían hecho mis compañeros, al final terminé bastante satisfecha pues los trabajos de los demás me parecían excelentes. At the end, they gave us some pieces of paper where we had to vote for our favorites. They told us that two categories would be chosen by the audience. I voted for one called “The Mystery of the Neighbor.”
