A Walk to School on a Colourful Wednesday.

Hello everyone! Trust your week's going great 😃. This is actually my first post on this community and I'm happy to share my Wednesday walk experience with you all 🤗.

You see, I finally left the four walls of my house today after the longest time. Lately I've been a homebody (okay what am I kidding?... I have technically always been a homebody 😅) but today I managed to drag myself out for a walk.

As my title states, I walked to my kid brother's school which is about 15 minutes walk from my house. Today's his first day of resumption for the term and I went to pick him up. Matter of fact, now that he has resumed school, I'd be taking more of these walks as I'm the one who usually goes to pick him up from school.

Well, as usual, I had my earphones plugged in as I vibed to some nice songs on my playlist. Honestly, I don't think my walk can ever be complete without music. To make everything even better, the weather was really nice and sunny. Though, the air was cool while the sky was blue and pretty unlike the past few days when it had been raining non-stop.

I find it funny that despite having walked only a short while, I sweated like I had just ran a race and my legs even started to hurt. I guess that shows how much my body has lacked exercise for too long. So, I feel kinda relieved that I was able to take this short walk.

On my way to the school, I stumbled on these beautiful bush of purple bellflowers in my street. And being a lover of nature, I didn't hesitate to quickly take a shot of the lovely sight. I would've taken an close up view if it hadn't been for those passersby that were around me. Don't mind me, I still feel kinda shy taking photos in public 🙈.

More amusing, I almost didn't recognize my kid bro's school if not for the name boldly written on the wall. The reason is because the building has changed a lot since I last went there. It wasn't colourfully painted as it is now. I guess the school management are indeed strategizing ways to attract more pupils.

Although, I think they might have overdone it a little tiny bit because I'm not quite sure about the multi-coloured gate 🌚... Either way, they did well in making the school's environment more bright and beautiful.

On getting home, I saw this little dragon perched on our wall and I was able to get a close up photo of it. I don't know why but I thought it was a nice shot and decided to share it here too.

Overall, I had a refreshing walk on this bright Wednesday. I got some fresh air and stretched my legs a little. Hopefully, I'll do this more often now ☺️.
